Traditionally Valmaña has been our second brand, but in recent vintages these wines have been rethought.
The red wine is based mainly on Merlot and Syrah grapes.
It is an expressive, powerful, mature and fruity wine.
Its optimum consumption begins in the third year after bottling. However, Clos d’Agon Valmaña Tinto can be considered a wine for aging, with characteristics that allow it to last for many years.
In the nose offers deep aromas of fresh red fruits, wrapped by toasted touches that make it very intense. Magnificent intensity with initial notes of slate, licorice, dark chocolate, scrubland and other balsamic notes.
With time it gains ripe fruit and leather, while maintaining spicy and balsamic notes. It is very concentrated, intense, powerful, slightly meaty and very persistent. ong finish, aftertaste of black fruit and very smoky aftertaste.
VARIETIES
46% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon and 19% Syrah.

BREEDING
Alrededor de 18 meses en barricas de roble francés (40% nuevas).
